In collaboration with The HongKong and Shanghai Hotels, Ltd., Thomas J. Klutznick Company conceived, designed and developed The Peninsula Chicago Hotel. Completed in 2001, The Peninsula is intended to be Chicago's premier luxury hotel property. Every element - location, décor, amenities and service - rank this property among the world's finest urban hotels.

Located on Michigan Avenue, the hotel was built atop several of the world's most highly regarded retailers, including Tiffany & Co. and Polo Ralph Lauren. Great care was taken to plan a facility that is both uniquely Chicago and uniquely Peninsula at this highly visible site.
