Surrounding The Inn is an 18-hole, par-72 classic linksland course, reminiscent in character and challenge of Scotland's legendary St. Andrews, Turnberry and Carnoustie. Designed by the team of Tom Watson, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Frank "Sandy" Tatum, The Links at Spanish Bay features narrow, rolling fairways sloping down to the Pacific Ocean shore and large expanses of sand dunes, some as high as 24 feet, covered with native plants and grasses.

The third element of the complex, The Residences at Spanish Bay, consists of 80 townhomes ranging in size from 3,500 to 4,200 square feet, each with a private courtyard and trellised entrance, developed to the highest standards of quality and excellence. Owners of The Residences enjoy an array of special privileges and services, including preferential use of Pebble Beach Company's four golf courses and membership in The Spanish Bay Club. In addition, concierge, catering and housekeeping services are available through The Inn.
